Since 1996, PACTE has supported the people and local authorities of Casamance towards sustainable, participatory and inclusive social and urban development.
PACTE — Prospective and Concerted Actions for Emerging Territories — is a Senegalese international solidarity association founded in Ziguinchor in 1996. It aims to be a framework for encouraging, innovating, promoting and supporting community-driven social and urban development initiatives.
Our conviction: exchanges of experience between communities and actors from the North and the South are a powerful catalyst for progress. "Act locally, think globally" has been our motto for more than 25 years.
